ABOUT CTEVT MADESH PROVINCE

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) was established in 1989 (2045 BS). Now we are in federal structure. Hence, CTEVT has 7 offices in each province. In Province number two, it is constituted in Falgun 22, 2075 BS. Learning, Earning and Paying is the motto of technical education; hence it is the backbone of prosperity for the nation.

Province No. 2 contributes 5,404,145 (15.04%) population of the country. It has 8 districts Madhesh and Terai which are Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara & Parsa. There are 1 Metropolitan city, 3 Sub-metropolitan, Municipality 70  and  rural municipalities 59 in the province.

    I am delighted to welcome you to Madhesh Province Office of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training.It is a great pleasure and honour for me to serve

    as the Director of Madhesh Province Office. In today’s global and digital world, the education especially technical education plays vital role. In this era of globalization of education, the real focus is on the quality of education. The world is undergoing constant transformation in the fast changing global environment. Madhesh Province Office mainly involves in formulation of TVET policies, program implementation, quality control, preparation of competency based curriculum, developing skill standards of various occupations and testing the skills of the people , conducting examinations and various research studies. As the Director, I look forward to continue to embrace cooperation, coordination, collaboration & corroboration from all the partners of technical education and vocational training in the province and those at the helm at the national level for creating able technocrats for the future.
